A quick little thing, but a few days ago I just got this sudden urge to draw something for Urasawa’s Pluto, which still is my most favorite manga ever. And Sahad is my beautiful son who did not deserve this.

I was rereading Pluto again and then The Greatest Robot on Earth arc from Astro Boy and then I just had this need to draw Pluto and Uran. Added some flowers because the picture looked a bit empty.

*wakes up 5 years later* Hey, did someone say they discovered a heart-shaped area on Pluto?

Well, different Pluto but.

But I had to.

Nobody said I have to do these in order and I really wanted to draw Helena and I had her planned for day 5 so here. 

Is this a video call kind of thing, is she looking at photos, I don’t know, it’s sad anyway.

Important life update: I’m still not over Naoki Urasawa’s Pluto.

“And then, Sahad Said, very sadly…’Maybe I… will turn out like him…’ ”

“Him?”

“Sahad was experimenting in flower cultivation. He was desperate to create a strong flower that could survive the wastes of the desert. He always needed it to be stronger, stronger, stronger… One day, he came to check on his flowers, like always.
And what he saw… Was a single tulip. With all the others wilted into dust.
And the name of that tulip was…“

So I hung my head and cried

“Will I see you again, Mister?”

“Yes. I’m sure you will.”
